Carmi District 5 Super-intendant Jarrod Newell joined our class. Mr. Newell talked about the school district as a business and how it is the largest employer in our area. This amazed the students to also hear our budget and all that goes into running a district as smoothly as possible. Mr. Newell was so quotable we had a hard time picking just one.
